A Wealth of Activities

At Happiness Is Camping, it seems the activities never stop --- and neither do the children. The day begins with reveille at 8:00 a.m., and doesn't end until the flag is lowered at 9:00 p.m. In between, campers can choose from daily activities that include: supervised swimming, fishing, boating, computers, ropes - archery, arts and crafts, newspaper reporting, drama, various sports, and much more. Each evening welcomes a different event, which ranges from a team scavenger hunt or "movie night" in the rec hall, to a cabin talent competition or the annual haunted house, costume/dance party. Each week a special pool party is held, as well as a traditional barbecue.

One very special event is scheduled for every week of camp. Happiness Is Camping now offers very special sessions for our campers' siblings all summer. With the sacrifices many families must make to care for a sick child, siblings can sometimes feel a bit left out. Sibling camp is intended to help the brothers and sisters of our campers feel special, too...

In addition, the camp has developed an exciting new winter program, where children can be reunited with summer buddies and continue to share camp fun.
