The Outdoor Center FAQ'sDo we need to bring insurance?Groups contracting the use of The Outdoor Center are required to submit proof of Liability Insurance. If you are unable to acquire the necessary coverage, The Outdoor Center will secure liability insurance on your behalf for a small fee. Do we need to bring our instructors?The camp has trained instructors to lead your activities. Do we need to supply food?The camp does all the cooking for you. We provide three freshly cooked meals each day. Most groups have the option of selecting their own menu. What should we bring to camp?A sample packing list for a 3 day, 2 night visit could consist of:
When can we attend?The Outdoor Center at Happiness Is Camping is open year round. However, it is closed to groups for six weeks in July and August, while we run our summer camp for children with cancer. How many people can you accommodate?The Outdoor Center can accommodate 30 to 200 people for day trips to week long camps. How much does it cost?The price is based on the number of nights a group stays and the number of meals the group has. We offer weekend rates as low as $52.00 per person. What kind of facilities do you have?The camp has many wonderful facilities, such as: Lodges, cabins, and spacious meeting areas.
