Our top priority at Happiness Is Camping is and always will be the safety of our campers. Thanks to our volunteer medical staff and health center facilities, we are capable of hosting even the sickest children on active treatment who are typically too ill to attend other camps. Many of the campers we serve are on active treatment and/or are immunocompromised.

For the safety of our entire community, our Medical Council has determined that all attendees, including Family Campers, must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 in order to attend any of our programs.  A person is considered “fully vaccinated” two weeks after they receive two shots of the primary series (3 if the person is immunocompromised). Although a booster shot is not be required, we high recommend that all attendees be up-to-date with their COVID-19 vaccinations according to the CDC. For more information on what it means to be fully vaccinated, visit the CDC website.

For additional information, please refer to our COVID-19 Vaccine FAQ. If you have any questions, please email Ryan at ryan@happinessiscamping.org and you will be connected with one of our Medical Directors.
